Globe Education Network
Utah Career College works collaboratively with other career colleges as members of the Globe Education Network (The Network). The Network supports education and administration at member career colleges, including Globe University, Minnesota School of Business, Institute of Production and Recording, Minnesota School of Cosmetology, and the Duluth Business University.
The Network provides operational support for administrators of member colleges and universities, and provides academic support and manages a wealth of shared resources for the benefit of students.
Through consortium agreements approved by member schools' accrediting bodies, credits earned for classes taken at schools within the Network apply directly to degree programs at member schools. Degrees are granted by the individual colleges.
Students of Utah Career College will see the Globe Education Network name on shared resources, including the Blackboard web site. Classes, however, are delivered by the member colleges. Utah Career College participates in the Network to increase the learning resources available to students and faculty members.
General Information
Utah Career College provides specialized career training programs for career minded individuals. Through our employer approved curriculum and hands-on training you can acquire the skills and education necessary to become successful in your chosen career.
We offer flexible class scheduling to accommodate academic and individual needs. Classes are offered both day and evening for full-time and part-time students. Many classes are also offered online, providing students with an opportunity to participate in distance education. This mode of delivery enables students to learn from the location of their choice and accommodates a schedule that is convenient for them.
Training is provided by instructors with practical business, computer and medical knowledge and professional on the job experience. With our help, students identify their career goals before their first day of class. Individualized attention and career specific training provide our graduates with an edge.
Area employers identify the necessary skills for success, which we incorporate into our classes. Students learn skills that are in high demand by employers. These skills include:
