The Orem campus of Broadview University (formerly Utah Career College), located at the corner of 800 North and I-15, is 25 miles south of downtown Salt Lake City. The campus consists of a two-story, 30,000 square foot building at 898 North 1200 West, and is the anchor for a new office and condominium area.

Training for careers in health, business, legal science and technology

The school offers bachelor of science degrees, associate of science degrees and technical diplomas in high-demand fields. Areas of study include the following:

  • Business: business administration, accounting and tax specialist
  • Health science: veterinary technology, medical assistant, massage therapy, health fitness specialist, and medical coding and billing
  • Information technology
  • Legal science: Paralegal studies, legal administrative assistant

Adjacent to Provo, Lindon, and Vineyard, and 45 miles south of Salt Lake City, Orem is one of the principal cities of a region that includes Utah and Juab counties.

Broadview University works closely with area employers, who are represented on its program advisory committees and employ student interns and graduates. Technical courses are taught by professionals with practical experience — many are drawn from the Provo-Orem business, industrial and professional communities.

Located as it is on the east shore of Utah Lake and in the foothills of Mount Timpanogos, Orem provides outdoor enthusiasists with easy access to recreational facilities, has more area devoted to parks than any other Utah city of its size, and is home to minor league baseball and basketball teams.
