Business Degree Programs Designed by Employers

Business degree programs at Utah Career College provide skills valued by employers, including critical and strategic thinking and effective communication. Our graduates are ready to make positive contributions from their first days on the job.

What makes UCC business degree programs stand out?Women in Business Suit

The right training: We know our students are learning the right skills– our business degree programs are designed by our Business Program Advisory Committee (PAC), a group of Salt Lake City business professionals and employers.

Small classes: A business class at UCC typically has five or ten students. Instructors have time to answer questions and really get to know students. Compare that to a large state university, where a business class might have 200 students in a room.

Instructors with business experience: Our business instructors have extensive management experience. Students learn skills and practice strategies that are appropriate in light of current business standards, regulatory requirements and industry trends.

Flexible options: Day or evening, part-time or full-time, and online business degree options allow students to complete their degree programs as efficiently as possible. Contact a representative for specific information.

Coordinated associate and bachelor’s degree programs: A graduate of our two-year Associate in Business Administration degree program is prepared to move into the workforce in an entry-level capacity or to continue on with advanced coursework and earn the four-year Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree.

Convenient locations: Utah Community College serves students throughout the region from campuses in West Jordan (15 miles south of Salt Lake City Center), Layton and Orem.

A shared focus on success: Students in our business degree programs include recent high school graduates, busy professionals, military servicemembers and homemakers. As diverse as the UCC community is, students, staff and instructors share a common focus on practical training for contemporary business careers.
