Medical Coding & Billing Certification Exam Preparation

At Utah Career College, we focus on practical skills training, providing students with tools that translate directly into the workplace. Graduates of our Medical Coding & Billing diploma program receive a Certificate of Entry-level Proficiency in Coding. A graduate can also choose to sit for national certification exams and demonstrate readiness to provide accurate, efficient and ethical medical coding services.

National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT)

Upon graduation, you will be able to sit for the National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT) professional certification exam in Insurance & Coding Specialist (NCICS), demonstrating your readiness to serve as a health insurance claims processor or coder in a medical office practice. Areas covered include medical billing procedures, billing, insurance claims processing and medical terminology.
