Utah Career College received probationary approval on January 14, 2008 by the Utah State Board of Nursing and received candidate status from the National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission Inc (NLNAC) in May 2008. The NLNAC site visit for initial accreditation is scheduled February 3-5, 2009.

The program at UCC is a two-year Associate of Applied Science in Nursing program that prepares students for NCLEX-RN exams and careers as registered nurses in hospitals, clinics and other settings.
