A new cohort begins the Associate of Applied Science in Nursing degree program at Utah Career College every quarter. In addition to the flexibility of multiple start dates, UCC offers both day and night school nursing programs. At this time, our Salt Lake City school is the only one in Utah to offer an evening program for the AAS in Nursing.
An applicant to the nursing program must be a high school graduate or have a GED (many have completed some college coursework as well). An applicant must be a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or be on track to be certified as a CNA before the associate degree program begins.
If you are considering enrolling in the AAS in Nursing program, it is important to begin the process as soon as possible by scheduling an appointment with an admissions representative. The representative will help you evaluate the program in light of your personal goals, and if you decide to enroll, assist you with the multi-step application process outlined below.
Appointments are very important. If at any point during the application process you miss an appointment without calling to reschedule another appointment, Utah Career College reserves the right to automatically move your application to a waiting list for the next available start.
Step I: Schedule an enrollment appointment
Call our West Jordan campus (801-304-4224) or contact us by e-mail and schedule an enrollment appointment. You will have a personal interview with our representative.
Please bring the following items to the enrollment appointment:
