Nursing students at Utah Career College represent diverse segments of our community. They share, however, a common trait, a single-minded determination to earn entry into their chosen profession.
The Associate of Applied Science in Nursing is a demanding program, and a student, upon graduating, faces one more hurdle before becoming a registered nurse – the difficult and comprehensive NCLEX-RN exam.
Knowing that, we are pleased to share the following comments of graduates who received the personal and academic support they needed to successfully complete the nursing program and pass the NCLEX.

“My OR observation at Salt Lake Regional was great! The doctor, Dr Howe, an orthopedic doc, was amazing. He pulled me aside before each procedure and showed me the x-rays and/or cat scans, explaining exactly what was wrong and what he was going to do. During the actual procedure, he would stop and explain what I was seeing and what it meant. He then would tell me what he would do next, how long it would take to heal and other information. I was standing front and center the whole time. GREAT!!!”
