At Utah Career College, we offer students in our Paralegal Studies degree programs the option of taking all general education courses and many paralegal courses online.* The flexibility of distance learning is a perfect complement to the personal contacts students experience in their on-campus courses.
Whether a legal specialty course is offered day or night, on-campus or online, the instructor will have extensive experience in that field, and students will receive the help they need to accomplish their best work.
Support for online studies
Online students enjoy maximum flexibility, but do face challenges unique to distance learning. Our Online Education Department provides them with academic and technical support through our consortium relationship with Globe Education Network. Students in online paralegal courses have access to tech support help lines and online tutoring, use Blackboard™ (a special educational delivery platform) to communicate with instructors and fellow students, and have access to extensive Internet-based library and database resources. They can take advantage of opportunities offered by Internet-based education and achieve their goals as easily as possible.

If you enroll in one of our paralegal degree programs, online courses will allow you to continue your education during a period of military service, to attend class at midnight, to fill in a gap in your schedule in a particular quarter, or to conserve precious hours that would otherwise be spent commuting.
A perfect fit for your program: online paralegal courses
If you take selected courses online, a paralegal degree may be attainable in less than the four years usually required for a bachelor’s program, or the two years otherwise required for the standard associate degree program.

Paralegal training at Utah Career College
Legal science programs are offered at Utah Career College campus locations in West Jordan (13 miles south of Salt Lake City Center), Layton and Orem. A student can earn one of the following:
- Bachelor’s in Paralegal Studies
- Associate in Paralegal Studies
- Legal Administrative Assistant Diploma
*Students must take 15 credits of their legal specialty courses in a traditional classroom setting at UCC. All remaining legal, technical and elective coursework may be taken online.
