Our High School Advantage Scholarship will help you get a head start on college. Enroll in Broadview University (formerly Utah Career College) during your senior year of high school and take up to four college courses free of tuition – before your first regular session at Broadview even begins.
Credit toward a bachelor’s or associate degree or diploma
As a high school senior with a minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.0 or higher, you can enroll at Broadview University and, tuition-free, take courses leading to an associate degree, bachelor’s degree or technical diploma program (subject to criteria below). Contact us now to get started.
Eligibility criteria for the High School Advantage Scholarship
- The student must be a current-year graduating high school senior.
- The student must be enrolled in an associate or bachelor degree program at Broadview University.
- The student must have a cumulative grade point average of at least 2.0.
- The student must have a signed recommendation form (provided by the admissions department at Broadview University) showing the student’s aptitude for success in college-level coursework.
- The tuition benefit will only apply to courses required in the student’s program of enrollment.
- The student will be responsible for the cost of textbooks and/or laboratory fees associated with the specific course.
- A student graduating from high school in the spring must begin attending Broadview in the summer or fall quarter immediately following the student’s senior year. A student that graduates early in the senior year and chooses to start classes in January or April following graduation can also take advantage of the scholarship program.
- A student taking advantage of the early entrance start date will receive a course free of tuition charges during that quarter, provided the student carries a minimum of 12 quarter credits and maintains satisfactory academic progress.
- A student that withdraws or fails a course while enrolled under the High School Advantage program must successfully appeal in writing to the academic department for continued enrollment under the program.
- While in the High School Advantage program, a student will remain in a non-degree seeking status, will not be considered a regular student, and will not be eligible to participate in financial aid.
