Servicemembers’ Opportunity College (SOC)
Utah Career College (UCC) campuses in Layton and West Jordan are Servicemembers’ Opportunity Colleges (SOCs). We serve communities throughout the region, including Salt Lake City , Orem and Ogden. Our military student services include a variety of support services and education benefits for soldiers, sailors, marines, airmen and Coast Guard personnel and their family members. These military students are considered special citizens in the UCC academic community.
Dedicated military liaison staff provide counsel and support
As a military student you will face a variety of challenges as you complete your degree. For that reason, we offer a unique service – dedicated military liaison staff to provide advocacy and counsel during your time as a student. Contact military services.
Flexible scheduling and online degree programs
If you are deployed, stationed far from campus, or have other service-related issues, our military liaison will work with you to see that you are able to continue your studies with the least possible interruption. Online classes and other scheduling options are often the bridge between military service and a degree.
